COVID-19 Policy.
Camden Records has carried out a thorough risk assessment to consider the transmission risks of COVID-19 in the studio. We have taken the following measures to ensure the safety of our staff and all clients attending the studio:
- Deep and increased frequency of cleaning of studios and equipment.
- Strict hygiene protocols throughout, including thorough clean-down before and after sessions.
- Regular cleaning of all surfaces, handles and equipment with antibacterial products or isopropyl alcohol where applicable including all pop shields, microphone grills, piano keys and faders.
- Alcohol gel must be used upon entering any room in the studio.
- PPE to be worn at all times where applicable and practical within the studio.
Social distancing and minimising contact:
FULL NAMES AND CONTACT DETAILS OF ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.
- We are advising everyone to avoid public transport and walk, cycle or drive where possible.
- We are also requesting that all non-essential personnel do not come to the studio.
- Guests must avoid “drop-ins” and instead link in contributors to a session via remote monitoring options available, such as Audiomovers, Source-Nexsus, Zoom etc in order to comply with above capacity restrictions and maintain social distancing.
- Limited amount of personnel on site at any given time.
- Limited control-room capacity (maximum 2 people).
- Restricted live-room capacity (maximum 4 people).
- Minimising the movement of people around the premises.
- Inside the building all attendees must maintain an appropriate level of social distancing.
- All guests must wash hands regularly, particularly after touching shared surfaces or equipment.
- Camden Records is asking all external engineers to bring their own keyboard and mouse to the studio.
- Those attending sessions should bring their own PPE, headphones and instruments wherever possible. Those who require these items should communicate this at the time of booking and we can provide these at an extra cost.
- Should a technical engineer be required in a studio the maximum persons per room must be adhered to, and we ask that guests exit to provide space if necessary.
COVID 19 – ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
IF YOU ARE SHOWING ANY SYMPTOMS SUCH AS HIGH TEMPERATURE OR ARE GENERALLY FEELING UNWELL, THEN YOU MUST NOT ATTEND A SESSION WITH US.
- Anyone who displays a new and persistent cough or fever is to immediately self isolate for 14 days, and if living with someone with symptoms all householders should stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person got symptoms.
It is important to understand that no amount of measures can completely eliminate risk. The goal is to mitigate risk to an acceptable level and with that in mind the following precautions and protocols have been adopted.
- All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions as modified by this policy.
- Guests accept all liability for their personal wellbeing, upholding social distancing, and adhering to all displayed & communicated company policy.
- Guests are advised to factor in extra time while planning and booking a session. Some sessions may take longer, so we recommend considering additional time if appropriate, or preparedness toward complying with standard session overtime policy, as per booking agreement.
All those using the studios must take responsibility for their own health, acting in accordance with our precautions and protocols. Please, at all times:
- Implement social distancing in accordance with the Government guidelines, a 2m distance wherever possible.
- Maintain personal hygiene by keeping your hands and face as clean as possible washing often with soap and water in accordance with the Government guidelines, for 20 seconds and use the hand sanitiser provided.
Where any client or its staff or invited attendees fail to act in accordance with Camden Records' precautions and in line with our protocols as set out above, Camden Records reserves the right to cancel without liability to the client the booking, and in such circumstances the client shall remain liable for the full cost of the studio booking that has been cancelled and all third-party expenses incurred by Camden Records in respect of that booking.
